Light Up a Life

Each year Hospice of Anchorage invites you to Light up a Life on our Remembrance Tree!

Each ornament on the tree represents a history, a wealth of memories, a host of love, and a sadness for dreams shared and lost.

It comforts us, encourages us, and gives us pause to remember these lights in our lives that will shine forever.

The proceeds from our Remembrance Tree provide support and services to terminally ill and bereaved persons in our community.

All service is provided based on the need for care, not the ability to pay. Hospice of Anchorage does not receive reimbursement from Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance companies. All services are funded through the generous donations of our community.

By dedicating an ornament on the Hospice tree, you honor the memory of a loved one and bring comfort and care to the terminally ill and their families in our community. Our Remembrance Tree is located at the Anchorage 5th Avenue Mall from the day after Thanksgiving through December 24th.
