Hospice of Anchorage is now accepting nominations for the 2010 Heroes of Healthcare Awards.

Each year Hospice of Anchorage solicits nominations from the community to honor FOUR unsung HEROes quietly working to help others in our community and around the world. We need your help in finding and recognizing these HEROes.
Specifically Hospice of Anchorage is requesting you take a moment to consider who you know in four distinct categories; additional information is provided in the 2010 Heroes Nomination Form. We are seeking your recommendation for our 2010 Heroes of Healthcare in the following categories:

• Global Community Service
• Local Community Service by a Physician
• Hospice Humanitarian
• Local Community Service (non-physician)

At Hospice of Anchorage, we know that loving, helping hands make a difference at the end of life, whether that life is for just a few hours or 100 years.

Everyday we have the honor to support families who look to us for guidance, comfort and care as they face this journey. And we couldn’t do what we do without your donations.

Your helping hands are why Hospice of Anchorage is able to support moms and dads, sons and daughters and friends and

families in our community who have a loved one facing a life-limiting-illness.

In addition, Hospice of Anchorage provides care and support to anyone in Anchorage who is coping with death and grief. We don’t charge for our services; all of our care is based on need, not the ability to pay.
