Friends of Hospice –
HOA has been selected to participate in the Anchorage Pita Pit “Pitas for a Purpose” program.
This program donates 10% of all sales made on a specific date to the chosen nonprofit
organization – the great thing is that this includes all Anchorage Pita Pit locations and even
DoorDash orders!
Hospice of Anchorage was selected to be the recipient of funds for this coming Sunday, March
31, 2024.
We know this coming Sunday is a busy one for many families as it coincides with the Easter
holiday – however Pita Pit is open and has provided a coupon for 15% off of catering orders.
Catering with Pita Pit is a great option for anyone looking to outsource some of the cooking for
the day!
Hospice of Anchorage has been expanding several programs over the past few months, and
your support allows us to continue focusing on this important work. In March we held a
Compassionate Companion training session and onboarded another 6 volunteers ready to
support our growing client base. We are so grateful to be able to be able to expand our reach to
more members of our community both as volunteers and to have the privilege of helping
families during a very difficult time.
